Franklin Township was founded in 1825. We have a population of over 16,000 and cover 56 square miles.

To All Franklin Township Residents with Friday Trash & Recycling Collection:

Septembers bulk trash will be picked up the week of September 13th.

Please be advised that as a result of budget cuts associated with the 2010 Municipal Budget, trash and recycling collection normally scheduled for Friday, will be moved to Monday. This change will become effective on June 4, 2010 and will be in effect until further notice. Any Questions, call 694-3155.

To All Franklin Township Residents:

Due to Budgets cuts, the Municipal Building will be closed on all Fridays beginning June 4, 2010.

Public Works Hours

The Public Works Dept summer hours are: Monday - Thursday 6 AM to 2 PM.
Beginning June 4, they will be closed on Friday's due to budget cuts.

For the convenience of our Township Residents, Two secure drop boxes are available for after hour payments of Taxes and Municipal Court. They are located in the front of the Municipal Building by the Front Door.
