Department of Community Development
The Franklin Township Department of Community Development is responsible for the day to day operations of the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Economic Development Commission, and the Code Enforcement Office. A staff of four serves the residents of Franklin Township providing assistance on topics ranging from accessory uses to zoning permits. If you are planning on building a new house, adding a deck, subdividing your property, or relocating your business, Community Development can answer your questions and guide you through the process to achieve your goals.
