The Department issues zoning permits; temporary use permits at the direction of the Zoning Board; and certificates of occupancy transfer; and maintains records on these items. A zoning permit is required prior to the construction, erection or alteration of any principal or accessory structure or part of a structure or upon a change in use of land or a structure. Applications and help in preparing the documents are available by calling Marie DaTorre at 856-694-1234, ext. 146. The fee for a zoning permit application for a single family house is $50.00, all other uses are $20.00.
