151-29, Running at large prohibited

It shall be unlawful for the owner of any domestic animal, other than cats, whether licensed or not, to permit said animal to run at large upon the public streets or other public or private property within the Township of Franklin, unless said animal shall be in the control of a person by means of a leash, harness, or other suitable means to exert control.

 

198, Curfew restrictions; hours

It shall be unlawful for any minor under the age of seventeen (17) years to loiter, idle, wander, stroll, or play in or remain in or be upon the public streets, highways, roads, alleys, parks, playgrounds, public places, public buildings, places of amusement and entertainment, places of business carried on for profit to which the public is invited, vacant lots or other public places, either on foot or in any vehicle, within confines of the township between the hours of 10:00pm on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and 6:00am of the day following, and between the hours of 11:00pm on Friday and Saturday and 6:00am of the day following; provided, however, that the provisions of this section shall not apply to any such minor accompanied by his parent or parents, guardian or other adult person having the care or custody of such a minor.

 

329, Prohibited deposits of litter

A. No person shall sweep into or deposit in or on any sidewalk, gutter, street, or other public place within the township any litter from any building or lot or from any public or private sidewalks or driveways. Persons owning or occupying property shall keep the sidewalk in front of their premises free from litter.

B. No person shall put, deposit, or have any litter or other material and equipment in or upon their private property or upon the private property of another whereby the same may be rendered unsightly in appearance or detrimental to the health, safety, and welfare of the public.

 

272, Loud or unnecessary noises prohibited

It shall be unlawful for any person to make, continue or cause to be made or continued any loud, unnecessary or unusual noise or any noise which endangers the health, safety or welfare of the community, or which annoys, disturbs, injures or endangers the comfort, repose, health, peace or safety of others within the Township of Franklin.

 

272, Obnoxious growths and debris prohibited

It shall be unlawful for any owner or owners, occupant or occupants of premises abutting or bordering upon any street, avenue or highway of the Township of Franklin to allow any brush tall uncultivated grass, weeds or other obnoxious growth or impediment to grow thereon or to allow the accumulation of filth, garbage, trash, debris or dead or dying tress which will prevent free or uninterrupted passage or become a public health, safety or fire hazard thereon.
